DC Collectibles, the arm of DC Comics responsible for high-end toys and the like from the company’s comics and other properties, has announced a new series of collectible figures from Batman: The Animated Series and more.
Specifically, the line is set to receive a bunch of figures from Batman: The Animated Series, The New Batman Adventures, Batman Beyond and even a “Tales of the Dark Knight” set. All of these are set to drop with a range of recommended prices later this year into early 2017.
The New Batman Adventures set “Girl’s Night Out” comes with Poison Ivy, Livewire, Supergirl, Batgirl and Harley Quinn with a price tag of $80 and expected release of September 2016. The previously-mentioned “Tales of the Dark Knight” comes with Batman, Carrie Kelly and Mutant leader with a price tag of $70 and expected release of October 2016. There’s also a Batman Beyond set with Batman, Bruce Wayne and Ace with a price tag of $50 that’s scheduled for January 2017.
In addition to the various sets, there’s also a series of individual six-inch figures available at $28 in September 2016, including Harley Quinn, Firefly, Joker, Talia al Ghul and more. An oversized version of Clayface will also be available at the same time for $40, as well as a small Joker set for Christmas at $45 in December 2016.
However, the biggest reveal is a Batman: The Animated Series Batwing that lights up the brakes, engine and headlights. The toy vehicle can also hold two figures. All that adds up fast, however, and Batman’s flying craft doesn’t come cheap when it releases in October for $100.
