The book "Magical Beasts and Where To Find Them" was a fictional textbook used by the students at Hogwarts for their lessons and it is also the title of the upcoming film starring Eddie Redmayne.
Although the film isn't set to be released until Nov. 26, you can get your Harry Potter fix by finding all the magical misfits and beasts in the "Harry Potter Magical Creatures" book featuring some of the best characters and magical beasts from the first four films, as well as the upcoming prequel.
The "Harry Potter Magical Creatures" coloring book was unveiled on Jan. 26 and is published by Scholastic. It is the second book in a series of five and is filled with 96 detailed line drawings that children and adults will enjoy (technically the book is listed as aimed towards 8-year olds). Following the trend of coloring books for adults, even grown-up Harry Potter fans will enjoy filling in the pages of margin to margin illustrations with color and life.
The original "Harry Potter Coloring Book" was published last year. Also in the series are the upcoming "Postcards" and "Harry Potter Magical Places and Characters" which will be out on shelves in March, and "Harry Potter Artifacts" which will be released in June of this year.
According to customer reviews so far, the look of the creatures featured in the book is based heavily on how they appeared in the blockbuster films. Some even seem like they were lifted straight out of the movies' storyboards and rendered in line drawings.
The original Harry Potter Coloring Book remains the number one bestseller in Amazon's Children's Activity Books sales, while the "Harry Potter Magical Creatures" book has risen to the top of the New Releases chart.
