It's late January now, but before we all know it, it will be spring training time.
Coinciding with the end of spring training and the the launch of the 2016 Major League Baseball season is MLB The Show 16, slated for a March 29 release.
Well, from now until then, the developers behind the video game will be revealing more details about the highly-anticipated title.
The first such video installment, posted onto YouTube on Tuesday, reveals a revamping of the Road to The Show career mode to the big leagues, as well as the introduction of the Showtime feature.
Now, once you're drafted by an MLB franchise, you can play an entire series of Road to The Show games without ever having to navigate the main menu between games.
Within that is a chance to impress scouts, as part of the Topps Prospect Showcase, which now includes the Bowman Scout Day and a new scouting report, altogether.
During the training period, gamers can earn and unlock gameplay perks.
Also new is the Showtime feature, which will allow gamers to slow down time in crucial game moments to make amazing plays.
The feature enables outfielders to really zero in on a ball hit to them to make diving catches. It also allows hitters to lock in on a pitch and have maximum control of their swings at the plate.
This is just the start of the new features that MLB The Show 16 will be rolling out with from now until late March.
