Guy Fieri Brings Flavortown To The Wasteland In 'Mad Max: Fieri Road'

Mad Max: Fury Road was easily one of the best movies of 2015. While other big-budget films were perfectly fine with cashing in on previous successes (looking at you, Age of Ultron), Fury Road felt genuinely new. It had an amazing cast, some unbelievable action sequences, and some of the most gorgeous visuals out of any movie released last year. As far as action movies go, Fury Road is basically perfect.

Of course, the next question is — how does someone improve on that? Do you focus on expanding the story in an interesting way, or taking the same characters and placing them in new situations? It seems almost impossible to up the ante yet again — compared with Fury Road, the original Mad Max films look downright tame. So, where can the franchise go after hitting such an impeccable point?

There's only one answer: Flavortown.

That's right: if Mad Max: Fury Road is the pinnacle of action movie entertainment, then the only thing left to do is bring in Guy Fieri.

Alright, on second thought ... maybe turning the wastelands of a post-apocalyptic hellhole into the subject of a B-Grade cooking and/or tourism show wouldn't be the best move.

Speaking of not making the best move, was the shot of the milk farm entirely necessary? It was tough enough to watch when those women were slaves to Immortan Joe, and the thought of something like that being used in a diner just makes the whole thing even tougher to swallow.

Either way, maybe we should just be happy with how amazing Mad Max was in its original form — after all, according to director George Miller, Fury Road might be the last time we ever get to ride through the wastelands with Max.
