DC Comic Legend Jim Lee Shows The World How To Draw Superman And Wonder Woman

Being a comic book artist isn't easy, but the best of the best make it look that way.

Such is the case with the legendary Jim Lee, who has long worked for DC Comics. He's one of the best in the business, and every page he draws is a pleasure to look at.

If you fancy yourself an aspiring comic book artist or just want to see how one of the pros does it, you should definitely check out the video below, in which Jim Lee effortlessly draws a stunning Superman and Wonder Woman, walking viewers through each step of his process.

It's the first installment of a new video series called DC Art Academy, in which various artists in the business go about showing how they approach crafting some of the most amazing artwork in comics today.

Each video was recorded throughout 2015 at various comic conventions. DC couldn't have picked a better artist to kick off the series than Lee. His style is perfect, as is his insightful commentary on what he's thinking about as he draws each piece.

"As I'm doing this, all along, I'm thinking of, well, 'I gotta fix this, I gotta fix that;' it's like a laundry list of to-do things that I have," Lee says as he works on a drawing of Wonder Woman. "So, in a way, I'm drawing with one part of my brain and keeping mental notes of things I need to work on."
