You've been chosen. And here is a new video to prove it.
BioWare has released a second teaser for its mysterious new game. This time around, we see a young man drawing something from a vision on a napkin as he ignores his ringing phone. And then he seems to be attacked with electricity by a hooded figure outside.
Unlike the first teaser, this second one has more of a coherent narrative rather than random strangeness.
Both teasers point to the site youve-been-chosen.com, which is the entry point into a larger online marketing campaign that seems to be building the world of this new game.
BioWare is known as the creators of several beloved role-playing game franchises, such as Baldur's Gate, Mass Effect and Dragon Age. Unlike the clear fantasy or science fiction settings of those titles, this game seems to have a real world setting with a weird or horror flavor.
The description of the video on YouTube points to more info being shared at the Gamescom convention in Cologne, Germany on August 13.
BioWare will be releasing its Dragon Age: Inquisition on October 7. At San Diego Comic-Con, the company showed concept art and graphics for a fourth Mass Effect title.
