Rockstar Games is adding some holiday cheer to the world of Grand Theft Auto Online with the Festive Surprise Update, and it gives you plenty of new ways to look utterly ridiculous as you rob banks and murder innocent bystanders.
From now until Jan. 5, players can snag new Santa outfits and pajamas, new holiday masks (including Mr. and Mrs. Claus, a Gingerbread Man and Festive Luchador) and new Christmas-themed car horns. Players will also find Christmas trees in apartments and at Legion Square. The update is available for all platforms, including Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
If you have some of the holiday gear from last year, you'll be able to use it until Jan. 5. Rockstar says players can expect some snowfall in Los Santos soon, and with it will come snowball fights. The developer says some "special additions" will also be coming to the game's various adversary modes, though Rockstar looks to be keeping what exactly will be changing a surprise for the time being.
Rockstar will also be holding a contest in which five players will win $1 million in in-game currency. All you have to do is take a holiday-themed Snapmatic photo and upload it to Rockstar Social Club before Jan. 5 for a chance to win.

In a game that revolves around stealing people's stuff and being a criminal mastermind, perhaps it isn't too surprising to learn that GTA V is the most-pirated game, according to a new study.
