‘Fallout 4’ Player Maps The Underwater World, Finds A Mysterious Sphere And A Power Armor

Fallout 4's map shows off a lot of water. There is no doubt that quite a few gamers presume that something interesting could be spotted underwater.

Fallout fan Lavon Smith spent his time investigating almost all of Fallout 4's waters and some small islands to check out what's there. He put together an extensive guide, with more than 100 images, which he posted on Imgur. Some of these images are maps highlighting places of interest, including a spot where he found out an empty suit of power armor.

"Over the past three weekends I have [been] spending most of my free time exploring the ocean depths of Fallout 4," says Smith, whose username is Lavonicus, on Reddit. While he admits that he is certain he missed a few things, he says "I must have been fairly close to exploring 'All' of the ocean floor."

Highlights

Here's a few of what Lavonicus found over and under water:

- A few pipes and a sphere with some odd writing on it. The writing appears to show off the word "New!" (Thanks to Lavonicus, we get to watch a YouTube video showing how to get to this mysterious sphere. Check it out below.)
- A downed combat aircraft.
- Foes floating in the water.
- A skeleton in a wheelchair.
- A boat with numerous paintings depicting cats. There's even a text spotted: "MEOW."
- Some loot.
- A skeleton in a bath tub with a teddy bear.
- Normal- and strange-looking fish.
- Boats and more skeletons.

To sum things up, Lavonicus did not find notable secrets hidden under the sea. Of course, there is a big possibility that plenty of noteworthy stuff and loot are buried somewhere that Lavonicus was not able to uncover. Therefore, you might want to check out the images and maps he shared to try for yourself if you can locate something out of the ordinary anywhere within the waters and surrounding islands of Fallout 4.

Furthermore, a possibility exists that Bethesda might add in a DLC in a little while, especially since people found a harpoon gun in the game.
