It seems that Samsung is stepping its game, based on a new rumor that an S Voice-based virtual assistant could already be under way.
There is no doubt that virtual assistants, such as Apple's Siri, Microsoft's Cortana and Google Now, have become a nifty feature for smartphones and tablets.
Fans already know that the South Korean tech giant has created its very own assistant, dubbed S Voice (and yes, they might be aware as well that it's not as powerful as other virtual assistants). Nevertheless, fans might be delighted to know that a fix is already rumored to be in the works.
Apart from the information leaked out by S_leak over Twitter, not much is known about this new virtual assistant Samsung is currently focused on. The company has yet to release an official word introducing this new nifty feature for its devices.
However, as Sam Mobile said on its post, given the company's habit of unveiling a major new software features next to a new hardware, it is safe to presume that this new assistant could be packed into Samsung Galaxy S7, which is believed to be unwrapped at the Mobile World Congress in February 2016.
Not too long ago, we reported that the Galaxy S7 variant which rocks Snapdragon 820 has purportedly garnered a benchmark score of 5,423 in multi-core performance and 2,456 in single-core performance, which suggests that the Samsung's upcoming smartphone is packed with notable performance. The other S7 variant is said to come equipped with Exynos 8890 clocked at 2.4 GHz.
The rumor was leaked by a Chinese tipster through Weibo. What's also interesting with the post is that it said the S7 could come with a heat pipe specifically built to assist in thermal control.
Since this is only a rumor, it is always best to take this story with a grain of salt.
