Customers of T-Mobile Poland are already given a possible list of smartphones they could pick from in the first half of the coming year: two new Xperias, four new Samsung Galaxy handsets, a new HTC One and more.
The largest mobile network operator purportedly presented an attention-grabbing slide during a press conference it recently held, showing off its plan on rolling out new handsets from Samsung, Sony, HTC, LG and Microsoft in 2016.
Based on the leaked slide, new Samsung Galaxy and Microsoft Lumia phones will be unwrapped in the middle of the first quarter of 2016. A new HTC One handset will then follow towards the end of Q1. At the start of the second quarter of 2016, LG will roll out new models. At the end of Q2, customers will get treated with two new Xperia handsets.
Since T-Mobile Poland did not disclose the exact names of the products, it is anticipated that the two from four Galaxy phones in the list could be the hotly awaited Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 Plus. Phone Arena predicts that the other two could be from the Galaxy A (2016) family. Samsung will unveil two variants of the Galaxy S7: one which will come equipped with an Exynos 8890 chipset clocked at 2.4 GHz and one which will house a Snapdragon 820 SoC from Qualcomm.
Rumors say the two Sony Xperia phones which will be offered to T-Mobile consumers could be from the forthcoming Xperia Z6 line. It's possible, though, that a new Sony Xperia could be announced as early as the end of February at the MWC tradeshow in Barcelona, Spain.
The Polish brand also hinted that the HTC phone to be released next year could be the HTC One M10. Four LG handsets are set to be unveiled as well, with the LG G5 not getting left behind. As for the two Microsoft Lumias, it is likely that the two flagships T-Mobile Poland is going to sell could be the Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL.
As always, it's wise to take this rumor with a grain of salt.
