These are the droids you're looking for. Too easy? Anyway, Verizon is launching "Star Wars" Edition models of the Motorola Droid Turbo 2 that include a handful of exclusive wallpapers starting Dec. 11 in anticipation of the upcoming "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."
At a physical Verizon store or via the Moto Maker online, fans will be able to build their own Droid Turbo 2 "Star Wars" Edition handsets, with customized backs and color palettes based on BB-8, Rey, Poe Dameron, Kylo Ren and a First Order Stormtrooper. To top them all off, Verizon will also launch an app that offers exclusive wallpapers on the Google Play Store.
This isn't the first time that Motorola made a "Star Wars"-inspired handset, though. Back in 2010, the smartphone maker and Verizon rolled out a special R2-D2 edition of the Motorola Droid 2 and filled the device with a bunch of "Star Wars" content.
Meanwhile, Verizon is giving away 12,000 opening weekend tickets for "Star Wars: The Force Awakens." To get a chance to win, simply participate at the carrier's Theory Wars website, where fans discuss what they expect out of the movie. Verizon is also going to sponsor a Q&A at the "Star Wars" website, giving fans a chance to talk to the cast of the upcoming movie.
In case you're wondering, Verizon isn't giving away free "Star Wars" Edition models, even if you use one or two Jedi mind tricks.
With the name Droid Turbo 2, it's only natural for Motorola and Verizon to launch these events and customizations. It also seems like a safe bet to assume that the pair were ecstatic when "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" was first announced.
At any rate, head on to the Moto Maker when it becomes available or to the Verizon website to get your hands on the "Star Wars" Edition Motorola Droid Turbo 2.
