Users Complain Windows 10 November Update Causes Wi-Fi Issues in MacBooks And iMacs

Windows 10 is turning out to be a huge problem for many users, especially after several updates that were designed to fix current problems. The recent update is also a significant problem, especially for MacBook users.

Update 1511, which came out in November, is a massive headache for some MacBook users after they experienced issues with their Wi-Fi connection. Apparently, Wi-Fi worked well before the update, but after, things began to go downhill.

One user opened a complaint on Microsoft Answers in hopes of locating a solution to the problem. According to the user, his Wi-Fi connection automatically drops for around every five to 10 minutes. Whenever this happens, his computer loses signal and never comes back until after a reboot, and then the Wi-Fi connectivity issue happens all over again.

Sometimes, launching the troubleshooter works, but nothing gives a permanent fix.

As it stands, this user is not the only one experiencing Wi-Fi problems with Windows 10 running on their MacBook. Several others have commented, hoping a Microsoft personnel would give them hopes of a future fix.

Interestingly enough, another user commented with the same problem, but he's a Surface 3 owner, so it would appear as if this technical problem might be far-reaching.

There might be a temporary fix here. All the user needs to do is to run the machine on its battery instead of the power outlet.

Personally, updating to full Windows 10 from the Technical Preview has caused severe problems with my Wi-Fi connection. At the moment, I am forced to sit closely to my router because going too far away would result in a strange loss of signal.

Other devices work just fine, so it is definitely not a wireless router issue.

Another problem we've come across on the Web has a lot to do with a recent patch released to Windows 10 by Microsoft. No one is certain what the patch is supposed to fix, but what is certain is the fact that some users are unable to get it to install on their systems.

Infoworld has laid out a few possible fixes that might force the patch to install.
