What if Batman was a deranged homeless man? Or if he took up the bright colors of his arch-nemesis the Joker?
DC Entertainment and WB Games are holding an art exhibition at San Diego Comic-Con called "Cape/Cowl/Create." The exhibition is part of the celebration for the 75th anniversary of the creation of Batman. The companies gave various artists and celebrities life-sized replicas of Batman's black cape and cowl from the upcoming Batman: Arkham Knight video game to refashion in any way they desired.
There was a quite a variety of participants: from artists and designers like Buff Monster, Apex, Benjamin Escobar, Akio Segawa, HorseBites, Michael Hsiung, Justin Fines, Conrad Leach, Mike Perry, Yardley and Sara "ZSO" Blake; to tattoo artist Mr Cartoon; to Lego artist Nathan Sawaya; to comic book artists Lee Bermejo and Jeff Lemire; to Warner Bros. creative director Derek Deal; to guitarist Frank Iero; to actor Will Arnett(the voice of Batman in "The Lego Movie") and Zack Snyder, the director of the upcoming film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice."
