Marvel's 'Civil War' Gets The Ken Burns Treatment

Much like the TV comedy Community' episode "Pillows and Blankets," a riff on Ken Burns documentaries like the PBS eight-parter The Civil War, someone has finally decided to do the same for Marvel's Civil War comic series, especially in light of the upcoming 2016 Captain America: Civil War movie.

Imitating Burns' storytelling style, his even cadence, and his propensity toward interwoven narratives, the Marvel-themed spoof created by comedy team and content producers Patrick Willems, Matt Torpey, Jake Torpey, and Mike Curran, recounts the 2006-2007 crossover storyline preamble in all the detail that a 6:15 minute runtime can pack in. Most importantly, it begs one question: "...can there truly be heroes in a Civil War?"

Then again, maybe it's this: "How do we trust a man that's never even been to a NASCAR race?"

Check out the Ken Burns-style take on Marvel's Civil Wars in the video clip below.
