China's LeTV may not enjoy the popularity of other smartphone makers such as Apple or Samsung, but its upcoming powerhouse could definitely raise high interest.
Top-notch smartphones with state-of-the-art tech always draw plenty of attention, especially among tech enthusiasts who are keen on having the latest and greatest smartphone around.
LeTV is the fastest-growing smartphone maker in China, and that alone is quite impressive considering that we already have notable Chinese OEMs competing on the smartphone market.
An unannounced LeTV handset has now been spotted in a benchmark and judging by the listed specs, the device is a true powerhouse. More specifically, an AnTuTu benchmark just surfaced on China's Weibo microblogging site, showing a LeTV Max Pro X910 with some awesome specs in tow.
The smartphone apparently comes with a 5.5-inch QHD display (2560 x 1440 pixels), a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor, Adreno 530 graphics and 4 GB of RAM. Moreover, the LeTV Max Pro X910 further features 64 GB of built-in storage, a powerful 21-megapixel main camera and a 4-megapixel UltraPixel front shooter.
All of these specs are worthy of a next-generation smartphone beast, and rocking the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system on board out of the box is just the cherry on top.
Coming from LeTV, a virtually unknown smartphone maker for many, outside of China, the well-specced LeTV Max Pro sounds like an ambitious project with great potential.
Either way, the benchmark listing suggests that the smartphone could be getting closer to its release, and TENAA certification could be the next step. Once that's out of the way, an official debut should not be too far off.
Back in April, we reported that LeTV was looking to enter the U.S. smartphone market at last, planning to bring its Le Superphone stateside.
It remains unclear for now whether the upcoming LeTV Max Pro will launch in China only or will finally hit the highly-competitive smartphone market in the U.S., but many are hoping to see the Chinese OEM expand globally.
Nevertheless, keep in mind that LeTV made no announcement yet regarding its upcoming Max Pro X910 smartphone powerhouse, so take this news with a grain of salt for now.
