This time, he did not stick with his usual number of songs. Get ready to listen to the 50 songs that defined 2015 with his aptly titled mashup "United State of Pop 2015 (50 Shades of Pop)."
We know, "50 Shades" might have made you think twice about listening to the track but don't worry, "50 Shades of Pop" is five minutes and 19 seconds of 2015's chart-topping pop songs, seamlessly mashed up into one track. It's also no surprise that it begins with Adele's record breaking song, "Hello."
It's not even a question why "Hello" is the perfect start for the mashup but if you're still wondering why, DJ earworm has an answer.
"It wouldn't be a year in summary without [Adele]," he said.
The year-end mashup also features Taylor Swift, Justin Bieber, Ed Sheeran, Ellie Goulding, Rihanna, Drake and many more. Hit "Play" below and try to identify as many songs and artists as you can.
"Music has been going through a softer phase than it was a few years ago so there's that return of adult contemporary," said DJ Earworm.
"50 Shades of Pop" reached number 4 in the Billboard + Twitter Trending 140 when it first debuted and while its rank has gone down with many still preferring the original tracks, it is still within the top 40.
DJ Earworm shows his unique talent with "50 Shades of Pop" - the perfect testament to 2015. It will surely be in everyone's New Year's Eve party playlists.
