Mary-Kate is an Olsen no more! It's no wonder that the Olsen twins did not reprise the role they alternated in, Michelle Tanner, in "Fuller House," as it seems Mary-Kate prefers to focus on her own house with long-time boyfriend and now husband, Olivier Sarkozy, whom she wed in a private ceremony on Nov. 27.
Unfortunately, unless the couple hands over photos of the very intimate ceremony to the press or shares some on social media, no one can provide any photo evidence that the ceremony did happen because all the guests were required to surrender their mobile phones before the main event began.
As far as anyone knows, the ceremony took place in a close friends' private residence in Manhattan and only 50 guests were invited to celebrate with the couple. It was supposedly an intimate garden ceremony followed by a reception indoors. Mary-Kate reportedly decorated her wedding with bowls of cigarettes which her guests made sure to consume. "Everyone smoked the whole night," a source said.
46-year-old French Banker Olivier Sarkozy, the younger half-brother of France's former president, has been dating the 29-year-old child-star-turned-fashion-designer for three years, sharing a townhouse in Manhattan. Sarkozy already proposed in 2013 but Mary-Kate turned him down." She wasn't ready," a source said.
The couple got engaged in 2014 but definite plans for the wedding have not been released because the couple themselves couldn't settle on when and where to hold the ceremony. "Her family can't even keep up!" a source said in October.
Then again, it is also possible that piecing together all of the cancelled plans was a way for the couple to mislead the media to ensure a truly intimate ceremony, which is exactly what they were able to have.
Congratulations to the couple!
