Guardians have to gear up as Destiny developer Bungie has revealed that it is cooking up some trickier challenges for the King's Fall Raid.
These challenges are slated to arrive this December.
While Bungie did not go into details about exactly what the update will bring, it offered a couple of hints.
To accomplish the King's Fall challenges, gamers have to get rid of raid bosses in a "very specific manner," the developer says.
"Early in December, one of the King’s Fall bosses will offer their challenge each week," says Gavin Irby, Destiny's lead raid designer. "You’ll see which boss when you select the Raid in the Director. It will display next to a skull, just like one of our Nightfall modifiers. They work on both normal and hard mode, and offer rewards to match."
Irby adds that he will let gamers find out how specifically every boss should be defeated. However, he drops a clue by saying sorry beforehand to those running the single-pool strat for Golgoroth.
The December update will also likely treat Destiny players to brand new weapon balance tweaks and Exotic items.
Bungie also says it intends to make further announcements with regard to the much awaited December update in the coming week.
In the meantime, the developer holding a Black Friday sale on its Bungie Store from Friday through Monday. It promises 25 percent off storewide.
The particulars about the Black Friday sale have yet to be announced, but, of course, it may come anytime soon between today and this coming Friday.
Not so long ago, details on the new Destiny quest A Tale of Two Guardians have surfaced. Apart from from bringing in legendary weapons and new emotes, this new mission will also take advantage of the new Refer-A-Friend program Bungie has been teasing in the past few days.
It is rumored that gamers will be provided with a multitude of rewards, which include primary telemetry, special telemetry and heavy telemetry.
