Pebble, similar to other device manufacturers Huawei and HTC, has already announced its Black Friday promotions, with the discounts that customers can take advantage of already available.
Pebble is slashing up to 35 percent off from the prices of some of its smartwatches. Specifically, the devices offered with discounts are the Pebble Time, the Pebble Time Steel and the Pebble Classic.
The Pebble Time is being sold for $129.99, which is a 35 percent discount from the full retail price of $199.99. The smartwatch, which comes in three color options of black, white and red, features a colored e-paper display, waterproof capabilities up to a depth of 30 meters (98 feet), and a battery that can last for up to seven days.
The Pebble Time Steel, on the other hand, now has a price tag of $199.99, which is a 25 percent discount to its original price of $249.99. The device also features a colored e-paper display and waterproof capabilities up to a depth of 30 meters (98 feet), but its battery life can last longer for up to 10 days. The metal band option for the smartwatch also sees a price discount from $299.99 to $239.99 for $60 in savings.
The Pebble Classic, the first smartwatch released by the company, is now priced at only $69.99, for a 30 percent discount from its regular price of $99.99.
It should be noted though that the Pebble Time Round, the newest product by Pebble, is not among the ones listed with discounts.
First announced in September, the Pebble Time Round features a round face, as can be deduced from its name, which is different from the rectangular forms of the rest of Pebble's offerings. Pebble is claiming that the Pebble Time Round is the lightest and thinnest smartwatch in the world.
Pebble's smartwatches are compatible with both iOS and Android smartphones, which is an advantage over other smartwatches that only work with one kind of mobile operating system. In addition, the long battery life of the Pebble smartwatches and the unique vision of the company for its devices make the discounted prices for the smartwatches even more tempting to consumers.
