'The Force Awakens' Trailer Remade By US Navy Crew - Get Ready For 'Sea Wars: The Ike Awakens'

Anyone would get bored riding on board a gigantic vessel out in the sea for months at a time. Unless you use your own imagination and creativity, things don't get much interesting outside of work. It's a good thing the crew of Navy Aircraft Carrier, USS Dwight D. Eisenhower, knows how to shake things up and is awesome at it because their most recent video, "Sea Wars: The Ike Awakens," is absolutely brilliant.

The spoof trailer created by Mass Communication Specialist 3rd Class Alex Delgado was uploaded on YouTube on Nov. 18 and it included clips of the crew acting out scenes from the "Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens," which will be released in a month's time.

The USS Dwight D. Eisenhower has been under maintenance for two years and has only began sailing again so the parody trailer is also a good way not only to pass the time while giving a nod to the popular science fiction franchise, but also a means of celebrating another expedition at sea.

The video has very similar shots if compared to some of the scenes in the "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" trailer, especially the beginning where a confused Finn suddenly appears on screen, with the main difference being the desert and sea background.

There are also soldiers driving a maintenance vehicle along the flight deck and several more dispatched and engaged in an aerial dogfight. The best bit of the trailer is definitely the mop bucket droid stand in as it makes tiny robotic noises while it careens on the deck.

Check out the original trailer followed by the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower version below.

"Star Wars: The Force Awakens" will unleash The Force on Dec. 18 in U.S. cinemas and will feature the return of original characters from the first three "Star Wars" films.
