New Dating App Once Has Real Live Human Matchmakers Pairing You Up The Old School Way

In case you are incredibly annoyed by the volume of matches suggested by a multitude of online dating apps you can find today, a brand new dating app, which claims to go back to old-fashioned human matchmaking has arrived.

This new dating app, known as Once, has debuted in the U.K. which has real human matchmakers (not computer algorithms) who can help its users locate their perfect dates.

The app will provide its users one date every single day. Users will then be provided with the option either to accept or decline their dates.

"People are fed up with having just to sit and swipe through hundreds of people in the hope that they might find one person who they like and then start a conversation with," explained Jean Meyer, the CEO and founder of Once to Mashable.

The real human matchmakers are going to be responsible for handpicking individuals for daters in London.

Meyer guaranteed that for each and every 24 hours, the app sends its users chosen dates to their inbox. Users will then have 24 hours to make a move, according to the description page of this application.

In less than one month after it was introduced in France a couple of weeks back, Once has already notched an impressive 150,000 users.

People in the U.K. are now able to download this new dating app on their Android and iOS devices. The developer, nevertheless, has yet to announce when it intends to roll it out to other countries.

Meanwhile, it was not too long ago, we also reported on another unique dating app dubbed Bumble, which only allows women to make the first move, instead of men.

"I personally can tell you that all my girlfriends — and many women I've spoken to — have this fear of being perceived as desperate or forward when they want to approach a man," according to Bumble founder and boss Whitney Wolfe. "It was always, 'He must text you first' — but why?"

Once Dating AG has uploaded a video detailing the way the app works.
