Samsung Galaxy View Now Available In The US: Where To Buy And When To Expect Delivery

Samsung has finally made the Galaxy View Tablet available in the United States. However, granted the plethora of retailers that lists the device, it can be tedious to find the best deal. In lieu of this, we've consolidated everything to make it easier for consumers to assess the best deals.

The Galaxy View Tablet, which was release last Nov. 6, Friday, has a massive 18.4-inch 1080p display. It comes fitted with Samsung Exynos 7580, eight A53 cores clocked at 1.6GHz, 2GB of RAM, a 32GB of internal storage, a microSD slot that caters up to 128GB of additional storage and a 5700mAh battery pack. Out of the box, the Galaxy View will be running on Android 5.1 Lollipop.

Some have commented that with its size and the native 1080p resolution, the Galaxy View is a niche product. Nonetheless, there is a market for it. At the moment, the Galaxy View Tablet is available at Samsung's Online Store and popular retailers, Best Buy and Amazon. B&H is also offering the device but only for pre-orders at the moment of writing.

All of the mentioned outlets have synced their prices with Samsung's and are currently offering the Galaxy View for $599.99. The only real difference will boil down to the warranties that come with the item and the shipping rates.

For those that are looking to buy from Samsung's online store, know that the company is offering extended service plans. If consumers opt to purchase a 2-year ESP Coverage with ADH, they will be billed an additional $89.99 and $159.99 for the 3-year ESP Coverage with ADH. Of course, buyers can always opt out on the extended service plans.

Samsung also offers options for shipping. The free shipping is for purchases greater than $50 and the package box will arrive within 1-3 business days. Expedited shipping, which is priced at $13.17, will have the item arrive at the buyer's front doors within two business days. Express shipping or 1-day shipping will reflect a $16.66 charge.

Best Buy offers extended warranty plans for service and labor that covers cracks, drops and spills. The 2-year plan will set consumers back by $69.99 and 109.99 for the 3-year plan. For the free shipping, however, buyers that order today, Nov. 7, will not have the package delivered until Nov. 16. Those that want it sooner can opt to have the package arrive on Nov. 11, but will have to pay $11.99. For people that badly need it in the soonest possible time, Best Buy will have it before their doorsteps on Nov.10 for $23.99.

Those who want to buy from Amazon will have a choice between the 2-year and 3-year Tablet Accident Protection Plan that are priced at $66.63 and $99.99, respectively. Just like Best Buy's extended warranty plans, Amazon's offer service and parts replacement for free. Spills, cracks and drops are covered. As for shipping, it would be ideal to get an Amazon Prime membership or go with trial, which offers free 2-day shipping. Of course, there is the available option of free shipping, which will have the item arrive within 5-8 business day. The two-day and 1-day shipping are also viable options. Note that the rates will vary depending on the location.

Do note that the Samsung Galaxy View Tablet only comes in black.
