MacMall Begins Preorders For iPad Pro With $12 Price Cut

With the much anticipated iPad Pro right around the corner, MacMall is accepting preorders to save Apple fans a couple of bucks for the powerful 12.9-inch tablet. The Apple reseller is the first to offer the iPad Pro in the United States, and it's offering a $12 price cut to boot.

Just recently, animators at Pixar got their hands on the iPad Pro and the Apple Pencil, noting that the device has "perfect palm rejection." Disney was also in Apple's stopover list, which Paul Hildebrandt, Disney's project manager, posts on Twitter about the visit, suggesting that the artists there can't seem to put the iPad Pro down. The $99 Apple Pencil as well as the $169 Smart Keyboard is sold separately.

It's no mystery why the iPad Pro is in demand, and it's pretty clear why MacMall decided to offer the tablet with marked down prices. Originally priced at $1,079 for the 128 GB with Wi-Fi and cellular connectivity, $949 for the 128 GB with Wi-Fi only and $799 for the 32 GB with Wi-Fi only, the Apple retailer offers them at $1,067, $937 and $787 respectively - yes, the maths was done for emphasis.

Under its hood will be a new A9X processor, and the tablet is noted to be capable of displaying 3D images and handling RAW photo and 4K video editing. It sports a 2,732 x 2,048 resolution and 264 ppi for a clear-cut display. Apple also boasts that it can last up to 10 hours, which is more than enough for a full workday.

"iPad Pro is the most advanced and powerful iPad we have ever made. Its beautiful and large 12.9-inch Retina display has 5.6 million pixels and provides an immersive experience for content and apps," Apple says in a press release.

The 12.9-inch iPad Pro will hit the shelves on Nov. 11, and it will come in three different colors: space gray, silver and gold. With MacMall's offer of a marked down price for the iPad Pro, you stand to save a few dollars for Apple's tablet.
