Nintendo and Platinum Games has a treat for everyone to make up for the delay in the Star Fox Zero release in 2016! Nintendo launched the official website for the Nintendo Wii U game and it is full of high resolution downloadable wallpapers and game screenshot that would make anyone excited for the game.
It is still just a single page but there is the promise that the full website is coming soon. One can only imagine what other things Nintendo has in store for its prospective customers because the sneak peek into the game through the game art and screen captures is enough to make anyone scream squeal in delight.
Take a look at some of the amazing game art below.
The game takes players to the Lylat System where the legendary space pilot Fox McCloud must fight to overthrow the evil empire that took over the galaxy. Under the command of General Pepper, Fox McCloud must use his arsenal of vehicles and weaponry to fight the enemies. Master the Arwing Jet, Landmaster Tank and Gyrowing Flight Drone all while trying to survive the enemy onslaught.
Players will have two different views of the game. On the television screen is the view of the situation outside the vehicle Fox McCloud is piloting and on the Wii U game pad is where players will see through the eyes of McCloud and aim at their targets. Of course, it wouldn't be an adventure with the legendary Fox McCloud if the players don't get to experience outer space dogfights.
Perhaps the most exciting part of the new website is one that can hardly be seen. "Broadband Internet access required for online features" is written very small at the bottom of the page. It makes us wonder what online features there are and what else Nintendo has in store for players.
Cue in more internal screaming.
