'Tonight's The Night' Barbara Gets To Kill Gordon In New 'Gotham' Trailer

The good news: It looks like Gotham is about to pull a trigger it's been holding onto for all of Season 2, if this exciting new trailer is any indication.

The bad news: The trailer, which aired at the end of the last installment, darn near gives away the entire episode.

Despite all she's done, regardless of her psychotic break, no matter how much she tries to torment him, good guy Jim Gordon (Ben McKenzie) is still determined to help Barbara Kean (Erin Richards). They were engaged to be married once upon a time, but when a villain mind-controlled her into murdering her own parents, she took a one-way trip to crazy town and Jim turned his affections to Dr. Leslie Thompkins (Morena Baccarin).

This season, Barb barely resembles the innocent woman that we met back in the series pilot. Manipulated and tutored by other villains around her, she was broken out of Arkham Asylum and groomed by Theo Galavan to become a new supervillain. Whether Gotham's producers are setting her up as a known supervillain or not remains to be seen.

Here's the trailer. Watch it if you don't mind honking big spoilers.

The episode "Tonight's the Night" airs Monday, Nov. 9, 2015 on Fox.
