Amazon Prime Members Can Get The High End Kindle Voyage And Kindle Paperwhite At $30 Less List Price

Amazon Prime members are in for another treat. This time, one that appeases bookworms who, at some point, need access to thousands of books without the extra luggage.

Amazon is giving a $30 discount on its two best e-ink Kindle products, for a limited time only.

The all-new Kindle Paperwhite and high-end Kindle Voyage are up for grabs for Amazon Prime members, with the said discount viewable upon check-out.

Both Kindle Paperwhite and Kindle Voyage boasts 300 ppi screens, Wi-Fi and access to the Amazon "jungle" (of e-books).

For faster reading with less strain on the eyes, Kindle Paperwhite comes with Bookerly, Amazon's exclusive, hand-crafted font. The more discerning readers, however, will notice that the Kindle Voyage includes slightly better contrast. Apart from that, the Kindle Voyage also incorporates an ambient light sensor and pressure-sensitive bezel that enables you turn pages with ease. At 7.6mm, the Kindle Voyage is Amazon's thinnest Kindle so far and has received rave reviews from the New York Times, CNET and Re/code.

Both Kindles claim to have a battery life that allows the user to "charge monthly, not daily." Based on a half hour of reading per day with wireless turned off and the light setting at ten, a single Kindle charge can last up to six weeks.

From $120, the Kindle Paperwhite goes down to $90. From $200, the price of the Kindle Voyage drops to $170. Again, these discounts will only be viewable upon check-out.

This isn't the first (or, we're guessing the last) time Amazon has given deals exclusive to Prime members. Recently, it provided another $30 discount for the newly released Halo 5: Guardians, as well as a $70 discount on Adobe Photoshop Elements, both of which were also available upon check-out.
