Amazon Prime Members Get Launch Deal On 'Halo 5' – Only $50 At Checkout

If you are looking forward to playing Halo 5: Guardians and hold an Amazon Prime membership (or know someone who does), today just might be your lucky day.

Amazon is offering the newly released game for only $50 upon checkout. The offer, however, is exclusive to Prime members only.

With this deal, Amazon Prime members can save $10 on the base game or up to $30 on the Limited Collector's Edition.

Xbox Live Gold members who play Halo 5: Guardians before Nov. 7 will also receive the Teishin Raikou Armor set, the code for which will be delivered by Xbox Live.

Halo 5: Guardians is equipped with Warzone, which is a new, 24-player massive-scale multiplayer mode, and Arena, which is a skill-based 4-versus-4 competitive combat. The game features a new rewards system if players need to earn requisition points in order to redeem new gear.

Also available is the Halo 5: Guardians limited edition, which includes the full-game physical disc; a uniquely designed Spartan-themed SteelBook; a Guardian model by Metal Earth; Dossiers on Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris; Spartan Locke's Classified Orders; the animated series "Halo: The Fall of Reach" and an Xbox Live Gold 14-day trial.

The limited edition includes the Warzone REQ Bundle, which has 14 Premium Requisition packs to further enhance Spartan combat, FOTUS-class armor and a multiplayer emblem.

Amazon Prime members will also have access to a two-day shipping guarantee.

Halo 5: Guardians is the newest and perhaps biggest evolution in the Halo franchise. The first-person shooter game, released on Oct. 27, is set in the year 2558, eight months after the events of Halo 4's Spartan Ops game mode. Players can experience the campaign from the point of view of either of two Spartan fireteams: Spartan II and Spartan IV.

A day after its release, Halo 5: Guardians has already received generally positive reviews from critics, most of which draw into the Warzone mode, competitive multiplayer, graphics and audio.
