Ronda Rousey's 16-Year-Old Pokémon Forum Moderator Profile Revealed
Before she ever stepped foot inside a UFC octagon and began kicking butt and taking names, Ronda Rousey was a Pokemon fanatic.
The undefeated UFC women's bantamweight champion phenom explained her love for Pokemon during Reddit's Ask Me Anything chat Monday night, Aug. 11.
"Ronda here," she said during the chat. "My favorite Pokemon is Mew and I used to moderate a Pokemon forum."
Sure enough, Complex was able to track down a 16-year-old Rousey's Pokemon forum moderator profile ... and just like one of her many mixed martial arts (MMA) moves, it doesn't disappoint.
The best part of the profile? Under her hobbies (besides games) section, a teenage Rousey wrote:
"I spend a lot of time with my friends, mostly practicing for our band (blonds in calculus) and trying our own jack*** stunts. I also spend a lot of time doing judo—a sport that's kinda like wrestling. It's really fun. Right now, I'm ranked No. 1 under 20-years-old. If you don't believe me, look it up."
Definitely a foreshadowing indicator to Rousey's fighting brilliance in becoming a household name, racking up a 12-0 record, including her 34-second knockout and destruction of Bethe Correia in Brazil two weeks ago.
Other Rousey quirks included her admitting she's an "active player on WOW" and will "shank a b****" for revealing what happens on Game Of Thrones.
As if that's not enough geeky, sci-fi info about Rousey, the dominant UFC fighter could be facing Cris "Cyborg" Justino as her next opponent.
