Household Bacteria Can Reveal Volumes About Home Residents

Researchers analyzed dust samples from 1,200 households across the U.S. and found that bacteria vary depending on who lives in the home, where it is located and what pets live there. Men and women contribute different types of bacteria, as well as pets. The researchers want to conduct further studies to look at the health impact of the organisms present in household dust.
