Google Teams Up With Movidius To Bring Deep Learning To Mobile: Here’s What An Artificially Intelligent Phone Can Do

Cameras on smartphones could be getting smarter because of a recent partnership between Google and Movidius. Movidius' tech can allow for real-time machine intelligence to happen inside a smartphone instead of calling back to a data center via the cloud, and this could allow for snappier speech and image recognition and many other uses in next-generation Google devices.
