A new study that tracked 22,000 pregnant women in Jacksonville, Florida for the years 2004 and 2005, has found a link between air pollution and the risk of high blood pressure and other hypertensive disorders. The researchers used the medical data of these women and analyzed them together with the daily data on air pollution levels gathered by the Environmental Protection Agency.
