Twitter And CBS Are Teaming Up For The Upcoming Democratic Presidential Debate In Iowa

A presidential debate is nothing without its hashtag. For those following along at home, it'll be #DemDebate when the Democratic candidates take the stage at Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa.

The debate between the dwindling Democratic field will be broadcast by CBS News, with a social push from media partner Twitter. The microblogging platform promises data, analytics, insights and the like, along with questions from the Twitterectorate (coining that now—let's see if it catches on), which will be posed to the candidates.

The debate will be broadcast through various CBS outlets starting at 9 p.m. EST on the 14th. Twitter's also got a complete list of candidates, for those having trouble remembering who's in and who's out. Either way, it seems a safe bet that no one will be saving a podium for Joe Biden this time out.
