Hold on to your Chihuahuas and French manicures. If Reese Witherspoon herself is excited to see Elle Woods take on a bigger role in politics, then we might expect to see another sequel for "Legally Blonde."

The Academy Award-winning actress explained that with the importance of women in politics, seeing Elle Woods run for office seems like a good idea.
"A lot of writers ... over the years have come up with different ideas for it. I actually think it's kind of great right now because we're talking about women in politics and how important that is to get more women. And I think it'd be kind of a cool thing to have her be a Supreme Court justice or someone who runs for office," she shared in the interview.
The presidential seat also came as a possibility for the character of Elle Woods.
Interview host Rachel Zoe, being the "Legally Blonde" fan that she was, was extremely affected by the prospect of a third movie installation.
"Don't tease me about this, because I'm gonna' go home with this tonight," she jokingly cautioned.
Who can blame her though? Following the 2003 sequel, "Legally Blonde 2: Red, White & Blonde," fans have been left eager to see their favorite Gemini vegetarian once again.
Witherspoon may be up for another "Legally Blonde," but she admits that it's up to Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer Studios to make the dream happen.
