It’s Official: Nexus 6P Preorders Now Getting Charged, Finally On Their Way To Their Eager Owners

For people who are eagerly waiting for the arrival of Google's Nexus 6, the sibling of the Nexus 5X, the wait is nearly over. Several reports on Twitter, Reddit as well as Google+ are saying a lot of 6P orders are now being shipped.

Individuals who ordered the 32 GB variant seem to be getting first dibs.

"Just got an email from Google saying my graphite 32gig just shipped," said Reddit user with the handle lapeet. "Has FedEx tracking number which doesn't come up when clicked yet."

Reports surfaced noting some people's credit cards have already been charged upon ordering the Nexus 6P via Play Store, which means shipping can't be too far away. All of the sources come from the U.S.

It is assumed these customers were among the first people to place their orders for the Nexus 6P from the Google order. As such, it should be expected those who ordered later will probably receive their 6P a week or even weeks later.

On Wednesday, Oct. 21, it was reported that the Nexus 6P is already sold out in the U.S. Google Store.

In the meantime, the 6P's sibling, the Nexus 5X, already began shipping on Monday, Oct. 19. Specifically, Google already started shipping the device built by LG in Canada, the U.K., Ireland, Japan, India, Korea and the U.S.

Alongside the announcement of Nexus 5X's shipping, Google also announced it was offering Project Fi instant invites to anyone to try out the service, but only for a limited time.

"The #Nexus5X ships today–so Project Fi is giving out instant invites for 24hrs to celebrate," said Google on a Twitter post.
