Windows 10 Build 10568 Leaked, Will Let You See Missed Call Notifications On Your Desktop

Microsoft only recently rolled out Windows 10 build 10565 to Windows Insider participants, but build 10568 and its screenshots have already been leaked to the Internet.

While Windows 10 build 10565 came with a semi-invasive addition to the popular Start menu, build 10568 doesn't seem to have plenty of major features. However, some users who installed the leaked build say they saw missed call notifications, a high CPU usage, random lag from time to time and an aggressive prompt to install Microsoft's own apps.

First off, build 10568 comes with missed call notifications, and on top of that, users can reply with SMS on Windows 10 Mobile. Twitter user Roman posted a screenshot of the feature.

Moving forward, when using a third-party browser, Windows 10 will apparently ask the user to "give Microsoft Edge a shot." Sure, it doesn't seem to be such a big problem if it can be ignored, but Windows 10 doesn't give that option, leaving users only with two choices: "Don't switch and try it now" and "Switch anyway." Following the Mozilla fiasco, where it became difficult to switch to Firefox on Windows 10, things don't look too good for browser developers.

"It now takes more than twice the number of mouse clicks, scrolling through content and some technical sophistication for people to reassert the choices they had previously made in earlier versions of Windows," Chris Beard, Mozilla CEO, wrote in an open letter addressed to Satya Nadella, Microsoft CEO.

Also, Windows 10 seems to treat music and photo apps the same, trying to convince users to keep using its built-in apps instead of third-party applications.

It's probably not a good idea to install the leaked version just to get ahead a few weeks of other Insiders because of the potential bugs and stability issues. The build's official release is not expected till November, but thanks to WZor, the user who leaked the screenshots and ISO for build 10568, we get an idea of what's coming.
