Sweet deals are even sweeter the second time around, and that's why T-Mobile is doing a Throwback Thursday with its oldie but goodie #10Gigs4All promo.
The promotion will not last for too long so families of four who are hungry for data should snatch this up soon. Individual carrier jumpers looking to get away from AT&T or Verizon could also wrangle up their best friends to gather together and avail of the deal as four lines are the minimum here.
"With #10Gigs4All, two people can get up to 10 GB of 4G LTE each - no sharing required - for just $100 a month. Then, each additional line is just $20 more per person — also with 10 GB of T-Mobile's blazing-fast 4G LTE," announced T-Mobile.
What's great about this deal is that T-Mobile will give the fourth line away for free, which means that a family or clique of four will only need to pay $120 a month in total.
The math works out to be $50 for the two main lines, just $20 for the third line and, of course, the fourth line is free — or $30 for each line. Should your family (or friends) need even more data for those 4K YouTube videos, an additional $10 per line will double the data of each user's account up to 20GB.
Customers unfamiliar with T-Mobile's extra perks in their Simple Choice plans can have their unused data rolled over each month for even more data for each succeeding month within a year. Other benefits include making calls over Wi-Fi and buffet-style music streaming. Border crossers also get unlimited calls (limited to certain countries), data, SMS in multiple countries and international texts from the United States.
Wildly popular when it was first introduced last summer, the surge of customers availing of #10Gigs4All made it T-Mobile's "most popular promotion of all time based on the percentage of postpaid customers signing up," said the company.
By comparison, AT&T's Mobile Share Value plan allows for 40GB of data for $300 per month. Verizon's best offer amounts to $380 per month including $20 for each smartphone under four lines using 40GB.
T-Mobile firing up its marketing efforts and sticking to what actually works for customers should continue to help it seal its place high up in the charts as one of the country's best network operators. Based on research conducted by Tom's Guide, where they pit nine major networks against each other — AT&T, Sprint, Verizon Wireless, Virgin Mobile, MetroPCS, Cricket, Straight Talk, Boost Mobile and of course, T-Mobile — the top spot was given to T-Mobile. This #10Gigs4All promotion should keep the company strongly planted at the top.
