It looks like Microsoft’s Surface 4 tablet might have some competition.
Toshiba announced a new lightweight 2-in-1 tablet that runs on Windows 10 and is designed to enhance productivity by reinventing the pen and paper.

The display has a dual-layer anti-reflection and anti-fingerprint coating that will allow for use in bright environments and without smudges from fingerprints, making it perfect for viewing photos and videos, working on documents or even drawing a sketch. Weighing in at 1.25 pounds, the dynaPad has a slim 6.9 mm monocoque carbon body with a Satin Gold finish.
The dynaPad is tablet that turns into a digital notebook with its ultra-thin full-size keyboard dock with a 19 mm pitch and 1.5 mm stroke for easy typing, and its high-precision Wacon Active Electrostatics TruPen with 2,048 levels of pressure (that attach to the side of the tablet via magnets), which is designed to recreate the natural feeling when writing with a pen on paper that are included to increase productivity and creativity.
“This tablet is designed to enable everyone to quickly capture information, effectively organize ideas and better express themselves,” Philip Osako, Toshiba’s senior director of product marketing, said in a press release. “Combining an ultra-thin, pen-capable tablet with Toshiba’s suite of productivity applications plus the versatility of Windows 10, we are closer to achieving the vision: truly personal computers that act as a complete medium for learning and expression.”
Along with Windows 10 suite, the tablet also features Toshiba’s exclusive suite of original business apps, which include TruNote, TruCapture and TruRecorder to easily organize notes, images and files, as well as the new TruNote Clip and TruNote Share apps for taking screen clips and sharing handwritten notes such as when in a meeting or collaborating on a project in real-time.
