Poor Tyrannasaurus Rex, king of the dinosaurs yet mocked for his evolutionary shortcomings in being cursed with seemingly pitiful arms that are minuscule compared to its massive body. But one T-Rex is out to show that world that little arms will never hold him back as it undergoes the rigid training regimen that athletes do to prep themselves for the ultimate obstacle course—"The American Ninja Warrior."
Actually, the T-Rex is really just "American Ninja Warrior" alum Reko Rivera, giving us some good laughs as he dons the dino suit.
Rivera wore the costume as he went through the whole course at FTC Ninja Warrior in Florida. Although he doesn't quite nail the course as he did sans the suit, he still completed some pretty impressive moves considering he was wearing a dinosaur outfit the entire time.
Brentwood Photography, which recorded all the T-Rex Ninja Warrior shenanigans on video and uploaded the evidence on YouTube, is behind the gag as well.
To the tune of “Everybody Walk the Dinosaur,” Rivera triggers a lot of belly laughs as his T-Rex lops around the course, his oversized head and mini-arms trying to coordinate with each and every obstacle and trick.
"American Ninja Warrior" is a U.S. spinoff of a Japanese game show called "Sasuke," where athletes compete over an extremely difficult obstacle course that challenges their strength, stamina and agility.
The Tyrannosaurus Rex was a Cretaceous Period dinosaur that walked on two legs, had a massive skull, balanced out by a long, heavy tail, yet relative to its size, had short limbs with two clawed digits.
