ASUS Unleashes New ROG Gaming Lineup With Windows 10, DirectX 12, 6th-Gen Intel Processors And More

ASUS presented its new Republic of Gaming (ROG) PC gaming hardware lineup at ROG Unleashed, an exclusive gaming event in San Francisco on October 9.

PC gamers have reason to celebrate: the synergy of high-end hardware components and Windows 10 means many hours of stable, satisfying gaming. Terry Myerson from Windows and ASUS Chairman Jonney Shih both took the stage to talk about the impressive features of the ASUS gaming systems.

Game DVR, DirectX 12 technology and Xbox One game streaming are just some of the good news. ROG PCs with Windows 10 that come equipped with Intel's 6th Generation Processors would make a dream Christmas present for any PC gamer.

Gamers can use Windows 10 Microsoft Game DVR to record or take a screenshot of their gameplay, to later share with the community or with their friends through social media.

Xbox One game streaming capacity integrates Xbox One consoles with ASUS ROG systems, so players can stream games from the console directly to desktops or notebooks that have ASUS ROG components.

Gaming on-the-go receives a premium level machine in the ASUS ROG GX700. The laptop is so powerfully savage that it comes with a contained liquid-cooling dock, which is also helpful in reducing the noise level. The strong build of the cooling unit comes from its automotive-grade resistant parts.

The configuration is as impressive as the design: the newest 6th Generation Intel Core i7 K-series processor sits next to a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 980. Both the CPU and GPU are unlocked and users who want to max them out by overclocking can do so. The GPU works well with the screen — a radiant 4K IPS. Gamers may use the NVIDIA GSYNC technology for conventional gaming in ultra-high resolution or virtual reality, as the beastly laptop is Oculus Rift compatible.

The ASUS ROG G751 notebook has a worthy successor in the G752. The new metallic chassis covers a Hyper Cool with Duo-copper cooling system, which means that both the CPU and GPU get chilled separately for maximum efficiency and noise reduction.

The ASUS ROG G752 is synonymous with "configuration liberty." The 6th Generation Intel Core i7 quad-core processors can be teamed up with the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 965M, GTX 970M and GTX 980M, which provides as much as 8 GB of GDDR5 video memory. 64 GB RAM complete the premium device, which has a starting price of $1,499 USD. Regardless of configuration, NVIDIA GSYNC technology is default.

A nice addition to the bundle is the dedicated keyboard that has N-key rollover (up to 30 simultaneous key presses) and 2.5mm long-travel keys. Connectivity-wise, USB Type-C with Thunderbolt 3.0 is available.

The ASUS ROG G20CB desktop has all it needs for immersive gaming — virtual reality included. The specs of the Oculus ready system show an 6th Generation Intel Core processors with NVIDIA GeForce GTX graphics cards for pulse-surging VR performance.

Having Windows 10 functionality and stability backing the prominent ASUS ROG hardware makes the lineup an excellent choice for PC gamers.
