Hogwarts Literally Built From Pages of 'Harry Potter' In Magical Stop-Motion Film [Video]

A child's bedtime story comes to life when he puts down his book and gets under the sheets. This beautifully made fan video for "Harry Potter" weaves magic into paper and bound books with a stop-motion animated film that pays homage to the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry where Harry and his friends learned to perfect their spells and potions.

The video, created by unPOP, is only a minute long but took a month to film. In it, the walls of Hogwarts are built up literally page-by-page straight out of the "Harry Potter" books.

Animators Peter Heacock and Joan Kamberaj were behind every single fold and crinkle that made this short video into a masterpiece.

The background music of the short also tugs at the heartstrings. Gretchen Lohse created a nice little lullaby based on the theme that has become familiar to many ears because of the "Harry Potter" feature films.

Even the tiny little origami owl that flies out of the paper Hogwarts is eye candy to viewers and we just can't help but wonder who in dreamworld is getting their invitation from that very owl to enroll at Hogwarts.

The creators of the video also very sweetly write a note at the end of the piece, saying that the video is "For J.K. Rowling."

The video is the only upload that unPOP has on its YouTube channel at the moment but from the looks of it, there's bound to be a lot of creative visual treats to come out of this company, which describes itself as "a mobile marketing agency and production company that creates dynamic and shareable social video for international brands."

Check out why we keep playing this video on loop, and perhaps you'll dream of your own favorite books coming to life tonight.
