The last time we saw Addy Miller, let's just say it wasn't her best angle, and by "angle" we mean half of her face torn off while attempting to devour Rick Grimes in AMC's The Walking Dead.
Like we said, not her best angle. But it seems that "humanhood" has done this 15-year-old actress well. Here is a more recent photo of Miller--something's different, though. Must be better lighting, or maybe just the absence of zombie prosthetics.
Miller made her film debut in The Secret Life of Bees when she played Dakota Fanning's character Lily Owens as a child. Since then, she has been other movies including The Three Stooges, Hatfields and McCoy's: Bad Blood and Dark Places. In The Walking Dead, Miller played Summer the Teddy Bear Walker, where she was the first zombie to shoot lead character Grimes. "Today is the 5th anniversary of the day I filmed The Walking Dead. I was a tiny 10 year old. Who knew these 2 minutes onscreen would change my life the way it has? #TWDFamily," she wrote on her Instagram, posting a collage of photos from behind the scenes of the series.
Miller recently went on an interview to discuss her time with The Walking Dead. She described a brief stint with the series as "the time of [her] life." She claimed to have enjoyed the filming process, even as a child, and had fun doing the stunts. Her only regret was that she could have gotten to know the show's cast and crew members. Fortunately, she manages to keep in touch with her friends from the series.
"I keep up with all the other kids on the show, actually. Like, we have our own little 'Walking Dead' club. We all hang out at conventions and go get dinner afterward and find some fun thing to do," Miller shared.
AMC's The Walking Dead Season 6 premieres Sunday, Oct. 11.
When asked about her zombie apocalypse survival advice, the actress provided the following:
"Climb a tree. Find an island. Kill the zombies on the island. There you go. Honestly, I'd just build a tree house and climb down when I need something."
This doesn't exactly register as "walker-proof," but then again, what better advice to take than that of a former zombie?
