HP has introduced the newest member of its Envy laptop family, HP Envy 13, billed as the company's thinnest laptop yet, even a hair thinner than Apple's new MacBook.
Sporting over half an inch (specifically 0.51 inch) thickness, the Envy 13 touts a weight of 2.81 pounds and up to 10 hours of battery life.
This Envy laptop is slated to land on select retailers' shelves on Oct. 18 starting at an $849.99 price tag.
What makes the Envy 13 so powerful is that it packs in a sixth-generation Intel Core i3, i5 or i7 Skylake processor and it houses 512GB of solid state storage as well as 8GB of RAM.
Display-wise, the laptop comes with a 13-inch screen with 1,920 x 1,080 as well as 3,200 x 1,800 pixel display In-Plane Switching (IPS) options.
Like its bigger siblings, the thin Envy 13 notebook is wrapped entirely in aluminum, making it more stunning.
Despite having a thin profile, this is equipped with four USB 3.0 ports, an SD card reader and an HDMI port.
What also makes the device interesting is that it features Bang & Olufsen audio as well as a fingerprint reader, permitting users to take advantage of the Windows Hello biometric login of Microsoft.
HP Spectre x2
In a bid to rival the Surface Pro 4, HP has also unveiled its new tablet-laptop: HP Spectre x2.
This slate, which comes with 512GB of flash storage and up to 8GB of RAM, is equipped with Intel Skylake Core m processors.
Expected to arrive on Nov. 8, it will be priced at $799. The keyboard, however, is not included in the price.
This light and thin tablet features a 12.5-inch screen.
HP Spectre x360 Special Edition
This convertible, scheduled to hit stores on Nov. 8, has a price tag of $1,299.
HP promises that this limited edition of the HP Spectre x360 has 12 hours of battery like and a 4K display.
It is also powered by sixth-generation Intel Skylake processors.
