Fox premiered a sneak peak at a scene from the latest season of American Horror Story during a commercial break for Ryan Murphy's other show, Scream Queens, on Tuesday night.
And if all that chainsaw action during Scream Queens isn't enough to saddle you with nightmares, then just wait until you see this scene — we just hope the guests at Hotel Cortez take this as a warning not to look under their beds.
The scene features detective John Lowell (Wes Bentley) lying down on his bed in room 64. It was this room that was used as an office by the murderous James March (Evan Peters) — making it a room no guest will want to get the keys to.
As Lowell looks up at the ceiling, the camera drops down to peer beneath the bed to the sounds of creepy music layered with heavy breathing. We then see the junkie character Gabriel (Max Greenfield) knocked out — possibly sleeping, or maybe he's already become a victim. Just then, he opens his eyes — gasping for air.
While Gabriel wakes up in a state of shock, fans of AHS probably are already thinking that he has been resurrected from the dead. While Lady Gaga's character is not in the scene, we do know that she plays an immortal who drinks the blood of her victims, who are not technically left for dead. Maybe Gaga plays a role in what happened to Gabriel, or maybe it's something more sinister. The possibilites are endless — so we will just have to wait and see.
