Wake up and smell the free coffee.
Sept. 29 is National Coffee Day, and for all the coffee enthusiasts, lover, addicts and addicts in denial, here's a list of places to score some free cups of Joe to celebrate the day.
Dunkin' Donuts
Get a free medium cup of either Dunkin' Donuts hot coffee or iced dark roast coffee. The catch is that only one coffee will be served per guest, so make sure to bring as many friends as you can.
Wawa
A free cup of coffee is up for grabs. The best part? It comes in the size of your choice.
Sheetz
Have a cup of coffee, on the house! Another reason to visit: Sheetz is also giving away Z-mugs to 150 customers at their stores.
Staples
Take a photo of your favorite coffee mug and post it with the hashtag #OfficeMugShot for a shot at winning a coffee prize pack.
Peet's Coffee & Tea
If you make a food purchase at Peet's Coffee & Tea, you also get a free small cup of Major Dickason's Blend.
LaMar's Donuts
Here's another free cup of Joe, this time, courtesy of LaMar's Donuts!
Krispy Kreme
Lastly, here's little somethin'-somethin' for all the coffee AND doughnut lovers out there. Claim your free cuppa' coffee + an original glazed doughnut. Charge to National Coffee Day.
National Coffee Day has been publicly known in the United States as early as 2005. This "unofficial" holiday was first promoted in Japan in 1893 and is also known as International Coffee Day, as it is also celebrated in various places around the world.
Quick reminder, though-these deals are usually available in select locations only, so it won't hurt to check if your local branch is among the participating stores.
That being said, happy coffee-binging! And remember, the 30th is a weekday, so remember to drink responsibly.
In adult language, that means as much as you can, on a weekday.
