Yup, that's them.
That's So Raven fans have found yet another reason to wallow in childhood show-induced nostalgia.
Teen sitcom star Raven-Symoné once again shared the stage with former co-star Anneliese van der Pol. Together, they rocked a live version of the That's So Raven opening sequence theme.
How y'all doin' after hearing about that?
The teen sitcom stars, sans Orlando Brown, reunited for van der Pol's first full concert at Manhattan's 54 Below in New York. Following the That's So Raven theme, the duo performed Frank Sinatra's "That's Life," where they showed off their distinct, yet complementing vocal tones. The night also marked van der Pol's 31st birthday celebration, for which Symoné and the band surprised the budding solo star with a birthday song.
Both actresses found their breakthrough roles in That's So Raven. Following the show, van der Pol pursued a solo career and made her Broadway debut in 2007. Symoné has been part of the ABC panel show The View since June 2015.
That's So Raven was a Disney Channel teen sitcom TV series that ran from 2003 to 2007. It drew into the teenage life of Raven Baxter (Symoné), her friends Eddie (Brown) and Chelsea (van der Pol), her parents Tanya Baxter (T'Keyah Crystal Keymáh) and Victor Baxter (Rondell Sheridan) and brother Cory (Kyle Massey). The episodes, set in San Francisco, revolved around Symoné's psychic powers, flair for fashion design and the various teenage predicaments that she and her friends found themselves in. In 2005 and 2007, the show was nominated in the Emmy Awards under the category Outstanding Children's Programming.
That's So Raven was the first Disney series to reach the 100th-episode mark, and has received higher ratings than any other show on the channel.
