Witness The Most Difficult 'Super Mario Maker' Stage Yet

There is no shortage of tough Super Mario Maker stages out there. Ever since the game launched, fans have been trying to make some of the most brutally difficult stages ever conceived - and, while a lot of them are designed simply to annoy other players, some are actually extremely well-crafted. Sure, you'll usually have to make a dozen pixel-perfect jumps in a row just to beat the stage, but once you take a step back, it's easy to see how much time and effort went into building such an extremely difficult level.

Nowhere is that more evident than the 'Pit of Panga' series. After spending years running through other people's ridiculously difficult Mario stages, YouTube and Twitch user PangaeaPanga has turned to making his own - and it's obvious that Panga has learned a lot after playing ROM hacks and custom Mario games for so long.

Unsurprisingly, there are plenty of Panga's levels to choose from - and, of course, all of them are brutally difficult. However, it's the 'Pit of Panga: P-Break' stage that takes the cake: it's a level that not only requires amazing reflexes and skill, but demands an intimate knowledge of how Super Mario World plays:

The video only lasts for about a minute, but even when watching a flawless run, it's easy to see just how insane Panga's level is. Not only that, but the description says that it took Panga a total of 14 hours to build and complete the stage. All things considered, he'll probably be the only one to beat the level anytime soon.

At the very least, it's good to see that some of Panga's videos are actually staying on YouTube: over the past few weeks, Nintendo has been coming down on similarly-themed videos, and basically tore Panga's channel apart in the process.

If you want to take a shot at Panga's 'P-Break' stage for yourself, the download code is in the video above.
