'The Dark Knight' Tumbler Just Released, But Batsuit Still Unavailable For 'Batman: Arkham Knight'

Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment announced on Tuesday the release of the 2008 Tumbler Batmobile Pack that allows players to cruise around in the vehicle featured in The Dark Knight film.

Those who purchased the Batman: Arkham Knight Season Pass for either PlayStation 4 or Xbox One will not be able to download the pack. But fear not, gamers without the season pass. The Tumbler Batmobile Pack can also be purchased by itself for $1.99 MSRP.

The DLC pack also features two new tracks inspired by The Dark Knight on which players can take that new Batmobile out for a spin. The Batmobile is built to be tough, resembling a military tank with the ability to wreck havoc on Gotham. The Tumbler is equipped with a helicopter that shoots rocks — because why blast off explosions as you whip around a corner?

While the 2008 movie-inspired vehicle can now be downloaded, the Batsuit from The Dark Knight is still unavailable. However, players can get the Original Arkham Batman Skin starting September 22.

Next Tuesday, September 29, Warner Bros. Interactive will release two new DLC packs: Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #2, which features challenge maps for Batman, Nightwing, Robin, Catwoman and the Batmobile — and GCPD Lockdown, which allows gamers to play as Nightwing to stop the Penguin from breaking out of the Gotham City Police Department.

Warner Bros. Interactive also revealed the October DLC packs that will include Catwoman's Revenge, Batman Classic TV Series Batmobile Pack and the Crime Fighter Challenge Pack #3.

Batman: Arkham Knight is available for PS4 and Xbox One. Check out the Tumbler featured in 2008's The Dark Knight in the game's September trailer below.
