Sprint has announced that it will begin selling the Apple Watch alongside the new iPhone 6S when it goes on sale this Friday, Sept. 25.
The news was announced via the Sprint iPhone 6S preorder page, but no information about pricing was given.
Sprint is the latest in a number of third-party vendors to offer the Apple Watch, most of which sell the device for a similar price as Apple. Third-party vendors typically do not, however, offer more limited-edition versions of the watch. For example, only Apple and a few luxury boutiques offer the Apple Watch Edition models, which are complex in production, and carry price tags of between $10,000 and $17,000.
Sprint isn't the only company slated to begin selling the new device in coming days. T-Mobile is also expected to start selling the Apple Watch on Sept. 25, but this is not yet official.
Apple itself is also expanding availability of the watch, and has begun selling it in countries like Belgium, Denmark and Ireland.
This is a big step from last year, with the company only opening up Apple Watch sales in its own stores after two months of selling it online. The first third-party retailer of the Apple Watch is Best Buy, which began selling the device in August.
