Only a few weeks before the new Steve Jobs movie is set to hit the cinema, the newest trailer for the film has been released.
The hotly-anticipated movie is directed by Danny Boyle and will focus on three critical points in the life of Steve Jobs, showing the launch of three Apple products, as well as the drama around bringing those three products to the public.
The film was already shown at the Telluride film festival earlier in the month and has been very well-received, with some even suggesting that Michael Fassbender, who plays Jobs, is on track for an Oscar for his portrayal of the controversial figure. Critics also noted that the portrayal of Jobs is unflattering.
The new trailer itself focuses on Jobs' relationship with his daughter, who he denied for years.
Along with Fassbender, Kate Winslet will appear in the film as Joanna Hoffman, Apple's marketing chief, who plays an important part in Jobs' professional life and urges him to reconcile with his daughter. Jeff Daniels will play John Sculley, an ex-CEO of Apple. Sculley was brought to Apple by Jobs himself before the two fought for power over the company. Seth Rogan will play Steve Wozniak, the co-founder of Apple.
In fact, the real Steve Wozniak was very impressed with the movie, saying that he felt like he was watching the real Steve Jobs.
Steve Jobs will open in theatres on Oct. 9, which is the same week as the anniversary of Jobs' death.
