Brabus Zero Emission, the electric vehicle-tuning arm of Brabus, gives Tesla Model S a stunning makeover, including sporty interior and exterior enhancements.
The German tuner unveiled the refined Tesla Model S at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, making customizations on the EV's bodywork and interior. Performance upgrades to the Model S Sedan were not made, though it said that they are to expand its customization program continuously.
BZE, renowned for tuning Mercedes-Benzes and Bentleys, added a carbon spoiler lip, which reduces lift on the front axle at high speeds to provide a sportier look to the EV's front end.
The car is now equipped with a more distinctive appearance with carbon attachments for the car's side air intakes added. BZE claims the add-ons can help optimize the flow of extra air to the vehicle's radiators.
The aerodynamic exterior body kit of the Model S is available in either high-gloss carbon fiber or a matte protective coating.
Another essential component that BZE added to impress car enthusiasts are the 21-inch high-tech forged wheels. Also available, according to the famed aftermarket tuner, are the Monoblock Y Platinum Edition forged wheels for exquisite elegance.
"The insert in the production rear bumper of the Tesla Model S is replaced with the Brabus carbon diffuser," said BZE in a blog post, noting that the diffuser adds a touch of racing flair and it reduces air deflection as well.
On the inside, BZE also made modifications exposing the color changing backlights - in white and blue - and stainless steel scuff plates.
Enthusiasts are presumably impressed with the fine leather interiors, where BZE used breathable, soft, and hardwearing Alcantara, which comes in a multitude of designs.
"What is more: The integrated cup holders can be set to cooling or heating. In addition, the center console is equipped with a wireless smartphone charger," says BZE.
Tesla Model S mods can be upgraded from the usual 70D to the P85D range.
